Day of Giving
Every year in the spring the library participates in the Day of Giving which partially matches your online donation to the library through the annual PittsburghGives Day of Giving.
Book Store in the Library
We have an on-going, volunteer-driven book sale. Stop by during library hours and find books, videos and audios on a variety of topics priced from $.25 to $3.00. These books are great as gifts, personal reading or home décor.
Our volunteer-run Book Store brings in close to $15,000 of much needed operating dollars. Cleaning house? Moving? Making room for new books? We gladly welcome your tax deductible donations. Please bring them to the back entrance. We will gladly provide you with a receipt for tax purposes. Please call ahead if you need assistance with a particularly large donation.
Love the Library
Each year the library raises over $30,000 through a fun community evening that celebrates individuals dedicated to our mission of cultivating a community of lifelong learners.

Tell a Friend...or two...or three...
Talk to your friends and neighbors about the Library's funding issues and tell them how they can help.
Volunteering at the library is a great way to make new friends, help your community, get experience in the library field and make productive and enjoyable use of your time. Our volunteers help to shelve books, collect and sort books being sent to neighboring libraries and keep our collection organized.
